SPORTS NUTRITION AND HYDRATION.
During the cycling challenge Ignac also paid attention to proper hydration and nutrition. Proaction team provided him with energy bars, gels, isotonic and a recovery drinks.
With the help of Blaz Grmek, Ignac made a calculation of nutrient consumption and prepared packages for the trip. He made a rough plan:
I planned to ride 3 times for 3 hours per day, and to make shorter stops for meals in between, of course depending on the situation.

Well, that was a plan but it was a little different in practice. Haribo's saved him a couple of times when his appetite dropped after a few days. He still tried to ate enough through the days and he managed to get home even a little heavier.
